On behalf of the @EMCRForum we submitted the #emcr perspective on the impending changes to the #mrff #grants scheme. This was thought provoking. EMCRs need all the support they can get and I’m glad I could work with @AngelaSLaird and tomoko sugiura on echoing this voice

As part of our ongoing mission to advocate for #EMCRs we submitted to the recent NHRMC and @healthgovau consultation on improving alignment of the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) and Medical Research Endowment Account (MREA). (1/5)

Wonderful to speak withPrime Minister @AlboMP today about the important relationship between science and the Parliament, and how we can work together to boost productivity, mobilise Australia’s talent, and contribute to the international science community.

Tweet Image 1

Significant support for #science and @Science_Academy in #Australia from @AlboMP and @IndustryGovAu means that we have hope for a better future for #emcr #researchers #STEM -as exec members of @EMCRForum seeing the challenges firsthand this is very reassuring #research #Academic

Right now, we’re losing some of our brightest minds as they move abroad to find work and research opportunities. Our government is working hard to create jobs and industries to keep them here. A future made right here in Australia sounds pretty good to me.
