one of the highlights of my youth was in 1990 when i found a bottle of blue nail polish in a pharmacy in Custer, SD for some reason. and i rationed that bottle out for a good 7 years.
i talk about this all the time but i want younger people to know that in the 90s, you could not get 'weird' nail polish colors. you could get reds, pinks, nudes, and white for french tips. wet'n'wild had black, royal blue, emerald green, and purple. but those colors were 'weird'
My fave thing about Grey's Anatomy, et al, is when a patient is suddenly coding and rushed to be saved by 4 different *doctors*. Excuse me, *surgeons*. Wait, from 4 different specialties. Who were all just hanging out there chatting. What Costco Surgeon Surplus store is this???
