Next pandemic I'm going to: 1) spend 18 months obsessing about gender 2) make a special about only that 3) close it by promising to not bring it up again 4) continue talking about it more than anyone 5) globetrot with some of the most powerful people on earth while playing victim

im really happy Norm MacDonald inspired and brought joy to so many of you. but please let us tell an accurate history of his legacy: he disrespected and straight up sexually assaulted women in comedy for many years
I always loved Norm MacDonald and was excited to meet him. Since I’m not a male comedian I don’t have a fun picture or memory with him, just another story about being sexually harassed. Must be cool to be a male who does comedy 😎
You will notice that every single person who complains about being silenced is doing it into a microphone.
people love asking standups who they think is the funniest person, hoping they’ll say like chappelle or seinfeld, but 99% of the time, it’s some recluse who quit ten years ago

I remember Bamford saying when she changed her act to be more truthful to who she was if it didn’t work out she’d be ok being a receptionist or having a job job because that’s not worse. She’s arguably the best comic alive now. We argue about idiots on here.
