You all are acting like Hunter Biden stole classified documents and tried to overturn a free and fair election. Relax.

I have no desire to work now. I had five days off in a row where I dined at a feast and was entertained at a cinema. I have flown too high to return to a laptop.

LAWSUIT?! Tragedies are commonplace.

Drake is suing his own record label (UMG) and Spotify, accusing them of "launching an illegal 'scheme' involving bots, payola and other methods to pump up Lamar’s song — a track that savagely attacked Drake amid an ongoing feud between the two stars." billboard.com/pro/drake-umg-…

It was hope and joy and euphoria. Little did we know…

to those who were older than 5 at the time - What did this actually feel like? Were you genuinely excited about the future? Maybe happy, relieved Bush was gone, but knew it wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows?

Honestly, at this point, if y’all aren’t going to intervene and actually do something then there is no need to inform us. We the people are tired.

Donald Trump and his transition team are already breaking the law. I would know because I wrote the law. Incoming presidents are required to prevent conflicts of interest and sign an ethics agreement. This is what illegal corruption looks like. cnn.com/2024/11/09/pol…

I’m sorry babes but read THE GAH DAMN room.

Good on NYT for publishing this. Real. Very sad.

Sherrod Brown was an old school labor rights Democrat and he lost decisively to a car dealership owner who had to settle several wage theft lawsuits before running for office. This election was not about working class discontent.

I keep seeing people ask how millennials are the only people who can see through the online bullsht. And I’ll tell you how. Bc we didn’t always have the internet but once we did, every single school paper needed 10 reliable website sources and none could be Wikipedia or a dot com

The Democrats’ most loyal voters, as ever, were Black voters and Jewish voters both of whom are under no illusions about the GOP and both of whom know the historic threat of racism and fascism. Other minority communities would do well to learn from them.

Striking data point: @SheldonforRI + @ChrisMurphyCT are the only New England senators who ran stronger than Harris VERMONT Harris 64.4% Sanders 63.3% (-1.1) MASS. Harris 61.3% Warren 59.6% (-1.7) R.I. Harris 55.4% Whitehouse 59.8% (+4.4) CONN. Harris 56.2% Murphy 58.3% (+2.1)

Before I go! If you have older parents/grandparents who have a significant amount of their savings in their 401Ks — tell them to make a different plan.

I’m honestly not sure where we go from here. I think for my own sanity I’m going to take a beat from Twitter for a bit. I think we’ve all earned the right to be a bit selfish moving forward.

This! For my “He still sits on the throne” cousins

Having faith is fine, but downplaying people’s real concerns about the election is not. Trusting God doesn’t mean ignoring the issues we’re facing. We need to address the problems, not pretend everything’s fine. Let’s have those tough conversations.

The entire electorate except for Black people voted at higher rates for Republicans and you’re trying to tell me this was about progressive policy and Gaza. Be fucking for real.
