Sherrod Brown was an old school labor rights Democrat and he lost decisively to a car dealership owner who had to settle several wage theft lawsuits before running for office. This election was not about working class discontent.
I keep seeing people ask how millennials are the only people who can see through the online bullsht. And I’ll tell you how. Bc we didn’t always have the internet but once we did, every single school paper needed 10 reliable website sources and none could be Wikipedia or a dot com
The Democrats’ most loyal voters, as ever, were Black voters and Jewish voters both of whom are under no illusions about the GOP and both of whom know the historic threat of racism and fascism. Other minority communities would do well to learn from them.

Having faith is fine, but downplaying people’s real concerns about the election is not. Trusting God doesn’t mean ignoring the issues we’re facing. We need to address the problems, not pretend everything’s fine. Let’s have those tough conversations.
