Many great candidates for Treasury, but I’d be excited to see Sen. Bill Hagerty in the role. Bitcoin Bill has been a true champion for crypto long before it was popular, and really gets the key issues.

A true champion for crypto innovation, @SenatorHagerty is a proven leader who understands the U.S. must adopt forward-thinking policies to harness its full economic potential. We are honored that @SenatorHagerty will be joining us at the #BAPolicySummit in a few weeks!

Crypto deserves an SEC chair who *already* understands crypto and is on the record demonstrating technical prowess and good policy instincts. Much like a SCOTUS pick, picking SEC chair based on personality and vibes is insufficient. That's how you get Justice Souter.

The next SEC chair is the most critical position for crypto @realdonaldtrump will appoint. The chair must be a known quantity committed to undoing the damage of the last 4 years, have expertise on crypto–and share Trump’s vision of making the US the crypto capital of the world.

I asked @JBSDC and @AlexanderGrieve about the message that the election results sent to the Democratic and Republican parties about their strategies, and how that could affect how they approach crypto

Despite all the chatter, Trump didn't really gain with black voters nationwide: 86% Harris, 12% Trump. Unchanged from 2020 when 87% of black voters went for Biden, 12% went for Trump. Black men? Static. 78-20% in 2024, 79-19% in 2020.

Every Black woman in America empathizes with Kamala right now. Overwhelming qualified. Still doubted.

If you’re blaming Democrats defeat primarily on misinformation or disinformation, just stop what you’re doing and consider logging off for a few days. This wasn’t a loss on comms or messaging. This was voters hating the outcome of our last four years of governance.

It’s wild to see people describe women voting for abortion access as single issue voters. Like yeah, my guys, I’m a single issue voter and that issue is my MY LIFE

Happy to announce that @AlexanderGrieve and I are going to start doing short-form video analyses together on crypto policy news and events! The hope is these are focused, accessible, and data-driven hits, aimed at folks who find politics and policy inscrutable or even inane.

Standby for (small) news.
