While Vanderbilt didn't play the cleanest game against Ball State, it wasn't a failure offensively. On paper, Vanderbilt played a quality game when possessing the ball. Regardless, I wanted to look at some of my favorite designs/play calls from the weekend. [🧵]

Initial takeaways from tonight as I walk to my dorm: - Secondary couldn't handle underneath throws, Texas tore up the soft coverage. - Two areas Vanderbilt usually excels with but didn't tonight: time of possession & 3rd down conversions. - This team has so much fight in them.
Student tickets are now sold out for Saturday. Whether or not FirstBank is filled with Texas fans, the student section will be packed and rocking tomorrow.
2019-2022 Coastal was pure vibes with the spread option. McCall was also one of guys I mentioned as someone Vandy should target back when the portal first opened. Sad end for him.
