Puzzling developments for the professed identity of the West as #RuleOfLaw defender. What is left of the current int'l legal order if even #EU public opinion becomes completely disenchanted? Stakes are unprecedentedly high in the #SAvsIsrael case at the #ICJ.



I couldn't disagree more with paras 143-144 of today's #ICJ decision on Preliminary Objections in #Ukraine️ v Russia. I hope some of the dissents will provide a different interpretation of the interplay btw obligations under the #Genocide Convention and good faith. TBC...
