This is my current 10x10 favourite anime! Finally watched and liked enough to make a chart like this.
They nailed Backbeard's oppressive presence in the 1968 Gegege no Kitarou. It helps that the black and white aesthetics aids in making his design stand out in every scene.

Finally finished Comet-san! I was concerned about the direction the finale was heading but I'm happy to say it ended on a high note and tied everything together well. Started back in early April and thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. Gonna miss you, Comet-san...
Episode 41 of Comet-san went unbelievably hard. I was worried about how they'd tie all the themes of the series together, but this is a great way to go about it. I hope it ends well.
