Solid point.

I just realized another reason why PHP is slow to be adopted in companies. Devs tried PHP 10 years ago, didn't like it. Now they are grown-up seniors, managers and TECH DECISION MAKERS in the companies. But they haven't tried PHP since then.

The economy is just smart people paying beautiful people to promote stuff to insecure people.

YC rejection letters being sent out meanwhile me watching degenerate founder friends build ai startups doubling every two months with no employees you don't need a $1M seed check anymore you need 12 months and $50K how VCs going to cope

I’ve always been confused when business owners do #2. They buy useless stuff for the write off instead of something that moves the business forward

Why most small businesses fail: 1. Owner hires B players and keeps them 2. Optimizes for taxes by buying buildings etc, instead of reinvesting 3. Gets distracted with too many products 4. Thinks growth will continue forever, forgetting profit is king

After 15+ years of using Wordpress, I’m making the jump to framer website. I’ll let you know how it goes!

We recently created a peer reviewed case report platform on @kiko4docs with the idea of trying to fix this exact problem. Kiko Case Reports: Open access, 100% free. Any medical specialty can publish there. kikoxp.com/case-reports

Ive worked with a lot of startups and founders. @forthejon is just different. Im confident people will be talking about what he’s built for decades to come. His vision will no doubt move humanity forward. No question.

@JMGardnerMD, @davidlapham and I created KiKo. We wanted a place just 4 docs to share knowledge/collaborate wo noise of other platforms. We hear your thoughts - much more to do. But if you believe that knowledge should be open and that doctors can be agents of change, join us!

My #1 wish list item for Laravel in 2023... The Str::taylor helper 🔥. It attempts to format a string into a paragraph of even lines with each subsequent line being 3 characters less than the preceding.

It's incredible how much opportunity comes from just taking action. Every major step forward I've had in life came from a little bit of planning and a lot of messy action. #opportunity #planning

I have a hard time getting @NotionHQ to be apart of my daily routine. Feels like the friction is just slightly too high. Anyone else? Keep going back to Apple notes app

I see the major upside of niching down when creating your offer as a small business, but it's tough leaving money on the table when you can do a few different things that would lead to cross-selling. Anyone have strong argument against hyper niches?

One of the best ways to learn programming is to jump into an existing project. Start with bugs, move onto extending features and before you know it you’ll be creating new features. Im in the middle of the process with swift.
