Some genetic cancers are when you’re born with a mutation in your DNA that greatly increases your risk for certain cancers. In my case, Lynch Syndrome (HNPCC) caused by a mutation in my PMS2 gene. Family history is an indicator to being a carrier. Testing/screening is important!
