Just look at how the rate of increase in life expectancy has been dropping in this country. And it’s not just since COVID/2020. The decline seemed to start around 2010… weird, that.

The atmosphere you knew is gone - it now holds ~10% more water vapour than just 30 years ago. That's an incredible rise in such a short period. Every 1C of warming, the atmosphere holds 7% more. The rainfall accumulation for the UK/Ireland the past 12 months has been incredible.

Things are not improving in the North Atlantic. The new records being set every day are crushing the previous highs set just last year. For example, yesterday the North Atlantic SST was 20.41°C, beating last year's record 19.94°C by almost 0.5°C.

We've recently upgraded some of our server infrastructure from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS and observed an almost 40% decrease in CPU usage for our PHP workloads. Pretty impressive! Full write-up with more data on our blog: ohdear.app/news-and-updat…

Has anyone else found #roon has become incredibly flakey recently, especially the iOS client? Server is massively memory hungry, client regularly needs closing fully as an app and reopening just to get it working again? Really starting to think it’s not worth the money
