This Lions Colts game definitely shows why Lions could benefit from Daniel Jones in limited packages. His threat as a runner and pass would add another dimension against stingy defenses like Colts that play primarily zone.
If Daniel Jones is willing to take the absolute minimum he should be something the Detroit Lions should entertain as a backup QB. Just bringing him as a runner on run packages might be lethal with that stud O Line and RBs similar to how Steelers use Justin Fields. Just a thought
