Excited (& relieved) to share that my first, first-authored pub with Erika Hall is finally out! We review unobtrusive measures of racial discrimination over the last 40 years and provide recs for using such measures, with a focus on remote adaptations. journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.11…

This narrative that successful Black people simply ignored the racism they experienced (including during Jim Crow) is so very tired and dangerous. Trust me, the daughter of a woman who helped to integrate her public high school, the scars are still there. Racism hurts. Full stop.

This week's Twitter Discourse™ is on whether faculty should speak with prospective grad applicants (before interviews). I think many of the problems & dilemmas underlying this convo could be resolved by having clear and comprehensive department/program websites. Thread: (1/6)

There's a lot of discussion about how "The Latino Vote" falsely assumes a homogenous group. @betsylevyp & I show how this same faulty assumption is present in how psychologists try to understand/compare "group" beliefs through aggregate analyses psyarxiv.com/kfpjg

NBA players are courageously on strike (withholding labor), NOT boycotting (withholding their $ /purchase). The diff is important bc it shows their power as *workers.* The courage this takes is profound. WNBA organizing in this moment MUST be recognized too. #StrikeForBlackLives
