Transepithelial PRK is an important technique in those unable to have conventional keratorefrwctive procedures. Great to work with @NanavatyMA discussing how far this procedure has come & where it needs to go 📝 mdpi.com/2411-5150/8/1/…

All you need to know about Transepithelial Photorefractive Keratectomy (TransPRK) in our recent review article at mdpi.com/2411-5150/8/1/…. Thanks to @cway_eye and Mohamed Gamal Elghobaier. #refractivesurgery; #PhotorefractiveKeratectomy; #laserrefractivesurgery; @vision_mdpi

Cataract surgery is amazing but postoperative inflammation is often a big cause of problems. We need to keep using objective measures of inflammation to keep advancing the field 🔬🔬 Great to work with @NanavatyMA, Andrew and Sheng Lim on this.

Several factors influence flare after cataract surgery. More in our recent paper journals.sagepub.com/doi/epub/10.11…. Thanks to Christopher Way, Andrew Swampillai, Sheng Lim for this great collaborative work. #flare ; #cataractsurgery ; #inflammation. @ESCRSofficial; @RCOphth; @aao_ophth .

The Govt have twisted what could have been a useful role into something ambiguous and unsafe The GMC was set up to ensure the public knew they were seeing a doctor. Now apparently GMC regulation of PAs will help clarify any confusion? #uncertainisunsafe theguardian.com/society/2023/d…

Physician Associate Associate Specialist Only one of these is a senior doctor practising independently (yes I know the title is now obsolete). But put yourself in the shoes of someone who knows nothing about medical careers. Would you know? Titles matter.

If you want to understand why doctors strikes will not end any time soon and why this is a disaster, take the temp of doctors from contemporary surveys 🧵

Australia’s health boards are actively advertising on #DoctorsStrike picket lines. Pay us, or lose us. Will @RishiSunak’s legacy be securing Australia’s healthcare future while decimating the NHS workforce by refusing to give Doctors Full Pay Restoration??? @ShaunLintern
