This. As someone who loves frontend engineering, there needs to be a balance. Unless your motive is to just win design awards or get popular, your website’s first focus should be on how to convert well.
I'm just going to say it: Your website sucks. Yes, the one you spent $20k on. It's slow, hard to navigate, and doesn't make people buy. But hey, at least it looks pretty.
I always create designs centered around a particular vibe, design philosophy, or major art movement. It’s much easier to maintain consistency and a clear message that way
I am a little biased, but the front end of a product gets much more criticism, so the visibility of front end devs on product-forward teams is higher.
As my life undergoes changes, I am excited to be back and much more active on X once again!
chat should i make an eras tour themed portfolio template for next.js? #TSTheErasTour #nextjs
based on some insider scoop, hawk tuah's next episode in the talk tuah podcast will touch upon the interesting power button placement in the new mac mini

What is the tech stack for your portfolio? Mine is * TypeScript + GraphQL * Next.js * Tailwind CSS + Framer Motion + Three.js * Vercel Hosting + Analytics * DigitalOcean CDN * Resend Email API * Hashnode Headless CMS #react #nextjs
RIGHT ON! @csvidit spends 360% more time coding than tweeting shiptalkers.dev/compare?name=c…
I am all for using component libraries/snippets for your websites, but if you're gonna copy-paste stuff, make sure it integrates/works well with your existing UI or design philosophy!
Just discovered one of my new favorite fonts, Onest. Much more playful than Inter or Manrope, yet clean enough to be suitable for all applications. onest.md/en
trying to get a lot accomplished this week, but first, new domain alert! vidit.fyi, now redirects to my portfolio.
