Nobody owes you anything in life. Work hard and earn it. You want to be a starting player? Work ethic is important. You want to progress the ladder in your job? Work ethic is important. Keep striving to better yourself and to make a positive impact in your world.
Literally all you need to do is tell your athletic trainers “Happy National Athletic Training Month” and it will make their entire day/week or month. It’s that simple!!
That is amazing of Jason Kelce to do that! As Athletic Trainers, we learn quite a bit from our patients during our work (taping, treatment, rehab, etc.). The bonds we form just adds to our resolve of helping those we serve! #NATM2024 #AT4ALL
Jason let his athletic trainer tape his ankles for his retirement press conference because he missed his last game in Tampa due to chemo. What a guy Jason Kelce is. ♥️🥺
Athletic Trainers cover every practice, all home games, some away games, and some playoff games. We change our plans because you forgot to tell us. Yet we are lucky to get a pat on the back and thank you at the end of the season. This month take some time to celebrate ATs!
Your lack of preparation does not constitute my emergency
Me @ my athletes who didn’t drink their electrolytes and now are cramping
Taping an entire football team in 30 minutes and victoriously slamming the last roll of tape when you're finished....
What's something that ISN'T a sport, but still FEELS like a sport?
I promise I’m listening to the eval
Nothing needs more TLC than the backseat/trunk of an AT's car during cold, postseason football
If I’m just standing on the sidelines, it’s a good day 😁❤️🖤 #NATM2022 #athletictraining #ATTwitter
Concussion testing part 2: Me- I’m going to read a string of numbers, and when I am done, repeat them back to me in REVERSE order of how I read them to you. So if I say 1-2-3, you say... Ath- 4-5-6?
Hi, I’m a high school athletic trainer. You may know me from my tops hits, including: No I can’t do a “light” ankle tape Bandaids? What are those? No I’m not a student, I work here I promise you’re not dying, it’s just a bruise And my #1 hit Well if it hurts stop doing that
The biggest thing I miss about being an Athletic Trainer is the ability to provide care to my athletes without worrying about insurance reimbursements. The impact you can have on a kid is far more valuable that any dollar sign attached to a CPT code.
Me: Do you have time to work today? Athlete: Yeah like 10 minutes. . . . Athlete: Why am I not better yet?
Pictures speak louder than words. With an AT the burden and uncertainty is not on the coaches but instead handled by a trained medical professional who is considered an expert in concussion/ head injury management. “If you can’t afford an AT, you can’t afford athletics”
This is what happens when OSSAA doesn’t put safety first. Brenden Alexander plays for Meeker High School (OK) and he suffered a blindside hit last Thursday and was knocked unconscious. Without an Athletic Trainer, coaches are left to fend for themselves and figure it out. #AT4ALL
