Don’t neglect the abdominals when rehabbing adductor injuries. •Abdominals have a high oxidative capacity & great ability to recover so can be trained often. •Rectus abdominis requires an extension moment to generate resistance in order to gain appropriate adaptation…

What is happening with the number of ATs and enrollment in AT programs? The answer was contained in 8 @CAATEUS and 10 @BOCATC reports. You don't have to read all of them; I did it for you. medium.com/@atfreeceu/the…

When you are in a professional meeting and say "you look like you just got out of high school" it is not a compliment. It is actually a misogynistic comment meant to undermine our knowledge and abilities. You would never say that to a man.

I have been using @SwayMedical for 3 years! I love the convenience of using Sway for baseline concussion testing & sideline evals. One of the coolest parts of using Sway has been the option to meet with the Sway Team to interpret test results & discuss patient cases! #MySwayStory

Let’s get a couple things straight 1-you are paying an AT to be there for major injuries/emergencies 2-if the AT has to buy their own supplies then yes this is appropriate 3-the complaining here is why I hate covering camp 4-no I won’t donate this out of the goodness of my heart

Have anyone seen this at a AAU event ????

Hot Take: Most patients don’t care about your credentials. Patients care about how they are treated. I’ve seen patients trust PTAs over neurosurgeons, ATs over orthopedics, PTs over PCPs, & everything in between. Want to improve value? You have to show more than a degree.

I think I speak for a lot of ATCs when I say we come from a place of “how can we assist you to compete without increasing/prolonging your injury/pain” rather than a place of “sit out until pain free” Please stop saying “don’t go to the trainer, they’ll sit you out” #AT4ALL

The argument that research can’t be used if it’s over 5-10 years old is a very weak one! Research doesn’t have a best before date like food! Older research can still be highly relevant and current! And even if newer research with different findings is published this doesn’t…
