Let us lay aside our petty differences and come together to admit that the lyrics to If I Had a Hammer are stupid and clearly written by someone with no idea what a hammer is or what it does.
I hate all the reactive words people use when a disgusting policy is announced. I'm not "appalled," it's not "vile," the country isn't "broken." But Wes Streeting is definitely going to kill people, to appease bigots, and he'll make absolutely no one safer by doing it.
This. Over and over again. This. Anyone saying PIP reforms are related to 'return to work' is stirring the pot for political gain. Same as they did when DLA was 'reformed' and all those people died.
Just saw an article stating that the PIP reforms will get people into work. Eh? PIP isn't an out of work benefit. I use mine to lease a car I use for work & to pay for equipment, such as my £6.5k wheelchair so I can work. PIP covers the extra costs of being disabled ffs.
You can't say "hard-working tax-payers" if you have to admit disabled people also pay tax.
@BBCRadio4 Please can someone say clearly that Pip can be claimed by working people; it keeps on being talked about as if it can’t.

Even with the samples of old harmonies etc, Now and Then is better at being itself, than, say, Free as a Bird was. The chorus sounds oddly like the Rutles, which is a weird thing to think. Incidentally, can we fix the muffled vocals on the other two songs now?
