Super excited to see what Caleb does with this season - he’s such an outstanding young man - student and athlete.

A6: 4 weeks later, still saying the same thing - I want to interrupt less. And then I won't miss chunks of the conversation thinking "Oh! I just interrupted, I have to stop doing that" which in a way is just silent interruption! #ISDBears23

Q6: What are one or two things you have implemented, or plan to implement to have better conversations? #ISDBears23

The final question is coming up! #ISDBears23

Q5: Are there certain trust factors that you feel are more important to emulate in your role to build trust? #ISDBears23

A4 I hope that I build trust by being dependable. I want people to think that if they share something w/ me that it wont be passed along to others. With students I try to be trustworthy and predictable in my actions-hopefully they know what they're going to get #ISDBears23

Q4: How do you build trust amongst your students and/or colleagues to promote better conversations #ISDBears23

We are at the halfway point of tonight's chat #ISDBears23

Q3: How can the concepts from Chapter 8 be utilized to support students in your classroom or school? #ISDBears23

My apologies if my responses are coming delayed. Seems I'm fighting connectivity or something - I'm not trying to avoid any of these conversations! #ISDBears23

Q2: What strategies to do incorporate to avoid or stop toxic conversations? #ISDBears23

Reframe is something that I've heard our school psychs talk a lot about - looking at a situation differently. I also like to remind myself that I don't know what I don't know -- applies to lots of situations. #ISDBears23

Q1: How can these strategies (name it, reframe it, and tame it) help you in conversations that might be highly emotional? #ISDBears23

Question 1 is coming soon! Make sure to comment and respond on the thoughts of others! #ISDBears23

Good evening, I'm Cristin, an AP. I've recently had a really nice convo with my friend Julie. My conversations with her always seem supportive, with laughter, and a wide range of topics. I did interrupt too much though! #ISDBears23

We will use a standard Q1-A1 format for tonight's chat #ISDBears23
