There should be an investigation into how Arsenal tricked Palace into paying £30m for Eddie Nketiah.
So, without any discretion, we’ve just casually rigged the League Cup draw & taken away FA Cup replays. The English Football pyramid is well & truly dead. As long as it pleases fans who have never stepped foot in our stadiums though.
We are deeply saddened that Sven-Göran Eriksson, who managed the #ThreeLions from 2001 to 2006, has passed away aged 76. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. Rest in peace, Sven. You will be greatly missed ❤️

For anyone wondering, VAR couldn’t overturn the referee’s decision because he blew the whistle before the ball crossed the line. If the ref had blown his whistle 1 second later, VAR could have intervened.
#BRECRY A beautifully timed whistle by the ref for no reason whatsoever denies Eze and Palace a goal. Unfortunately we could not intervene on this occasion, as Palace are not one of the top 6.

I’m a Brentford fan and even I’m annoyed about the decision to rule out Eberechi Eze's freekick. The ‘foul’ was a minor block, nowhere near the ball, and didn’t impact the keeper’s ability to save it. It’s a totally valid goal. These officials are destroying the Premier League.
So happy that VAR and the referee were there to deny us that beautiful Eze goal because of a minor incident that happened nowhere near the ball.
Ah well, only the footy innit. At least one day we'll definitely all die. Lovely, lovely, warm, sweet death
