In general, if you are interested in studying an arts subject, simply because you love it, do it. You will gain immeasurably from a degree in it, whatever you end up doing for a job. Don't let anyone tell you arts degree are of lesser worth - they are not.
Looking through my school books and it’s all drawing. Eventually I was allowed to spend some of my others lessons in the art room too. I was a top set/top grade student but I don’t know if I would have made it through without those art lessons and that art room..
Being in the systems made us all unwell. And while I knew this wasn’t okay I chose to politely ignore what I could. Because my child needed me and the important stuff was us. How could I look after them if I was mad and sad?
