It's done. 18 mos of stress, capping 20+ yrs of struggle. How did I celebrate? I took a nap! To all the players, coaches, instructors, and friends who helped reach this milestone: Thank you all. So much. Never stop experiencing, learning, and improving. The journey continues.
Following on from this, I find it unacceptable that coaches like myself can work hard, pay for their qualifications and have the ability to achieve all the way up to UEFA A, to then not be able to get one job that financially supports a family. Not good enough!
Any A licence coaches that work a completely different full time job other than coaching? The money on offer for full time coaching roles, nothing upwards of 30k. I personally am sick of trying to work 2-3 jobs just to coach. Becoming too much. Anyone else? @CoachingFamily

A3 Quickest w/ a team before first game was 3 days. Old D3 conference rules didn't allow first practice until last week in August. Did it 5x so we got into a rhythm: Fitness test, 2 practices, scrimmage, 2 practices, make cuts, then line up for a competitive game. 😓 #SoccerChat

A5 If team tactic, use whole-part-whole methodology. Teach the whole team at once, addressing each player's role, responsibilities, & options. Design games that address specific player groups, areas of the field, etc. Always reconnect w/ main team tactic(s). #SoccerChat
