Awesome to see two former players from Andover’s Super 8 team. Brothers Jake “LC” Sr Captain and Shane “Sugar” Lachance. LC with a great career at Weslyan after 4 years of MIAA hockey. Shane with a PPG goal for BU in a 6-3 win vs #18 UNH. Great players even better humans. #ABC

Despite the tough loss to Monadnock 6-5 last night. It was priceless to be able to see Tyler score a goal in hs and actually be in attendance to see it. I missed his first V goal last season while coaching MC.Seeing this one in person makes all the decisions I’ve made worth it.

Your player may be feeling lack of playing time in high school. Do not call the coach, do not call the school. Have your child advocate for themselves and ask the coach what they need from them. Chances are they need to keep working hard and stay ready for when their opportunity…
Awesome to see Sofia play her first middle school game of the year, broken back/back brace and all. After 25 years in HS Hockey it was the hardest and BEST decision I made to step back from coaching . I missed all but one of her games last year because of conflicts. #GirlDad
Good luck to all the coaches, players and teams as they start their HS Hockey seasons today. In the end, it’s not the wins and losses you’ll be remembered for, it’s the moments created and the bonds formed. Be the teammate everyone remembers for always being a positive force.
