As a long time educator, it is very cool to see a former social studies teacher and coach appear on the presidential ticket of a major party. Public educators have been the brunt of so many attacks lately so seeing the profession promoted in such a positive light is appreciated

One of us has a 91st birthday today…glad to be able to take part of the day and surprise mom. What a blessing she is for all of us!!

Thankful for the opportunity tonight to coach one more basketball game at the NIACC Women’s BB senior all star game. Great group of kids and fun to have 4 Riverhawks on the teams. Definitely going to miss Friday nights in the gym with all of the excitement, energy, and community.
