Today I have been at a graveside service at Allerton Cemetery to give thanks for the life of L/Cpl Peter Eustace who was killed in action on this day 13 years ago in Afghanistan. I had a good chat with his Mum and members of the Royal Green Jackets. May we always honour him.

Today was the half way point in my Mayoralty. I celebrated it at the @liverpoolphil with a performance of Copland and Gershwin music and talking to people about the work that they do with kids from disadvantaged area and with the NHS
