CCBC will open a new collection site at Sutter Alta Bates in Berkley California this week. This is in partnership with the Umbilical Cord Blood Collection Program, designed to capture the genetic diversity of Californians through the collection of cord blood units.


We welcomed 3 new board members to the Cleveland Cord Blood Center Board of Directors- Nancy Cook, Ilana Landsman and Pamela Plott. These individuals represent communities and organizations throughout the regions we serve including Georgia, California, and Ohio.

Cleveland Cord Blood Center celebrated 10 years of partnership with Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The collection site opened March 2013 and has collected over 12,000 UCB units and has had 41 UCB transplants. Join us in celebrating our Emory Midtown team in Atlanta.
