Thanks to Interim President Phillips @uoregon for his community message strongly condemning the discriminatory chants by some students at the BYU-UO football game. "these actions...are anathema to who we are as a community.." and "call upon us to stand up against such behavior.."

Congratulations to the recipients of the UO 2022 Distinguished Teaching Awards. So proud that 6 of them are @uocas colleagues! around.uoregon.edu/content/7-facu…

This is infuriating: a major spill of hexavalent chromium into the huron river, which we drink, fish, and swim. Tribar also caused severe PFAS pollution. Without reasonable laws to hold them accountable, we must find other ways. Their clients should act @Ford @GM @Rivian et al.

If you only have time for one article about the #hexavalentchromium spill from Tribar in Wixom, we recommend this coverage from @BridgeMichigan by Kelly House. #huronriver #greatlakes bridgemi.com/michigan-envir…

🌟New paper🌟 led by Jiang Zhu, w/ @mountain_gaucho and @cjpoulsen demonstrates that ECS in the CESM2 climate model is just 👏 too 👏 damn 👏 high 👏, leading to a very chilly simulation of the last Ice Age agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/20…

Congrats to @DxjDu on this exciting work demonstrating weakened ENSO variability in the mid-Holocene.

New paper alert! We present a new 9000-yr sub-annually resolved Ti record from Santa Barbara Basin. It demonstrates decreased interannual precipitation variance in Southern California prior 4.4 ka, indicating weakened ENSO variability in the mid-Holocene. authors.elsevier.com/a/1c68S,Ig4KqtU
