Of coz, I'd have to have a signature pose w/ the plants which hv been kind to us during our photosynthesis campaign the past 9 pre-dawns. I'm exhausted, want to do more & have to tell myself that I've done my best! #sugarcane #c4photosynthesis #C4grasses #plantsci #plantbiology

Final day of pre-dawn sampling!!! 🥲🥹 A total of 9 mornings waking up at 3.50am aiming to get to the field before sunrise😵‍💫 Sugarcane leaves adapting to light b4 measuring how much CO2 they assimilate at different light intensities.. #photosynthesis #plantsci #co2assimilation

Odd things at UIUC!

Oh 🦌🦌🦌DEER! A deer broke through a window at Engineering Sciences Building and our folks, along with @UIPD and @uofigrainger, helped secure and release the animal. There were some abrasions and cuts but the deer was deemed OK! 😲Whew - never know what you’re gonna see!
