Working 5 years as a therapist has made it clear Gratitude is a SUPERPOWER. However, you can't do it by simply writing down things you are grateful for. Here's a thread on gratitude and how it can change your life 🧵👇

“You can’t compete with someone who is having fun.” — @fortelabs

Weekends are a gift for those who want to get ahead.

The problem with working in healthcare is you get paid by the hour - not by the value you provide. The only way to make more is to work more. When you run out of time or energy - you also run out of money. Always reserve some time and energy to compound your skills. You'll…

Don't just try to finish the game. Learn to enjoy the journey as well.

Failing is a prerequisite to exponential success. In my 20s, I failed at: - Building a consistent gym routine - Learning to invest and build wealth - Obtaining my license as an Occupational Therapist - Surviving a long-distance relationship Whether it may be health, wealth,…

The biggest rut we’re stuck in isn’t our work; it’s our mindset. - If you don't believe, you won't take action - If you don't take action, you won't make progress - If you don't make progress, you'll struggle to believe in yourself Always pay attention to how you think.

Focus is finite. Always save some to use for yourself.

Emotions matter little. It's how you react to the them that matters.

You're a lucky bastard if: - You have the health to move your body - You have the mind to learn and grow - You have the freedom to make your own decisions Don't take these for granted Not everyone has it as good as you

Most people are perpetually locked in the present. Their decisions are overly influenced by the most immediate event; they easily become emotional and ascribe greater significance to a problem than it should have in reality.

How To Make Life Fun: 1. Pick a meaningful challenge to overcome 2. Do the work to prepare for it 3. Enjoy the feeling of progression and growth 4. Repeat the process with better skills and abilities

People don't care about you: Stop worrying about what others think. Most are too busy figuring out their own lives to pay attention to what you're doing with yours.
