Today is the 8th anniversary of the tram derailment at Sandilands, a tragic moment in Croydon’s history which affected so many people, and one we will never forget. All our thoughts are with the victims’ family & friends and the communities impacted, especially New Addington.
We aren’t ending friendships over politics, we’re ending friendships over morals. There is a huge difference.

We're delighted that our campaign to save Nightwatch from the threat of legal action by the council has succeeded. Tonight, Deputy Mayor Hale embarrassingly conceded that the council will NOT take legal action against them. What a disgrace that it was ever suggested!

The Mayor just decided to close four of our libraries. Residents oppose it, community groups oppose it, Labour councillors oppose it.

On Friday, I caught the train from Exeter to London, with the aim of working from the office before heading off for a weekend with Scouts. As I was looking for a seat, a gentleman was walking through the aisle towards me, so I moved out of the aisle to allow him to pass. 1/11
