Bobby Allison was one of my earliest favorite drivers. When he was badly injured in Pocono my family was going to PA for a wedding so we stopped at the hospital and I left a nice card I had drawn. It’s interesting that as I learn of his passing I’m sitting at a wedding. RIP BA!

A couple of interesting tidbits about Bobby Allison, that he shared over the years. Although he's associated with the Alabama Gang, including the late Neil Bonnett and Red Farmer, he was actually from Miami, FL. And his racing career started with lake boats in the in MidWest.
