I think pageants would seem more fair if it was judged on skills more than appearance.

Even though a lot of people became aware of child beauty pageants in 2009, when Toddlers & Tiaras first aired, they actually started in 1921
@childpageants every parent believes their child is the best, a beauty pageant is a way for parents to prove this belief.
@childpageants i really think it's the parent's pride. Not just what they didn't fulfill in own lives, but look how great my offspring is.
