Stopped by the Bass Lake Area (5 miles south of Biwabik) and observed significant storm damage. County crews are working quickly to clear the roads. Emergency Management is reaching out to townships, cities and the electric co-ops to conduct a preliminary damage assessment.

Fun time at the Pequaywan Lakes Assoc event yesterday. In addition to seeing a lot of old friends, I was able to size up cornhole abilities and talents of Lt. Abernathy and Deputy Kuhnly. We’re all better off knowing each other and working together to keep our communities safe.
