When a flower does not bloom, we look at the environment and not the flower. As medical education, we're the environment and the learner is the flower! We need to act accordingly! Thanks Drs. Dardin (@rockstardoc ), Tatem (@DrAndriaTatem) for sharing knowledge! #APPD2024

If you matched, congratulations. Now, DO NOT USE your home address and personal number for anything license/provider number related. Use your hospital’s, this will be public info. Thanks for coming to my TED talk

Man it really bothers me when people label certain specialty residency programs as “easy.” All it does is invalidate any mental/physical challenges trainees may have, and it’s just flat out wrong.

when little work is done to understand the impact of racism in education, historical disenfranchisement, DEI, and the impact of wealth on access, incorrect assumptions are made about WHAT affirmative action is and WHO it actually benefits.

To those who attended #AMEC2023 — Thank you! All of you made this a successful conference & truly embodied brilliance. As we depart and travel back to cities across the country we hope you left inspired & ready to continue the mission of the SNMA. 🎥 : @love_chiii98

A program I interviewed at made glamorous attempts at expressing their interest in diversity and then proceeded to match no URiM students & mainly internal applicants. #actionsspeaklouderthanwords

The advice I give to premeds and current medical students is always the same. 1. Give yourself grace. Life is hard enough without pursuing a career in medicine. We’re often our own worst critic. So remember to be kind to yourself. You’re doing enough. You are enough.

Happy #Match2023 and congrats! AAP President Dr. Sandy Chung welcomes the new members of @AAPSOPT to the most rewarding specialty and shares how AAP can support them through their journeys to becoming pediatricians. #FutureFAAP #PedsMatch2023

Can’t wait to see where all the new #FutureFAAP residents match today 🤩🤩🤩 #Match2023 #IPickedPeds #BestSpecialtyEver

Medical training has made me hate the word "resilience"

This‼️

I just think it’s funny that ACGME asks whether “my program has instructed me on how to minimize the effects of sleep deprivation on patient care” rather than asking if I have been compelled to work so many hours that sleep deprivation has impacted patient care or my own wellness

Not sure people still #wordle but this was too good to not tweet! 🤩 Wordle 615 2/6 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
