Today 2 appliances attended a fire in sayers common, a BA drill combined with some practical firefighting skills and several more welfare checks. With the weather staying hot for the next few days please avoid having bonfires and dispose of bbqs safely 🔥

Last night crews were turned out to assist East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service with a large fire in Ashdown Forest. Crews worked through the night to help minimise fire spread. The incident is still ongoing so please avoid the area.
2 pumps from Burgess Hill are returning from this incident. Great teamwork and hard work from all involved.
