📚 2021 reads 📚

Just finished Archenemies by Marissa Meyer. Some parts in the series sometimes feel like they drag on but the end always leaves me so curious I need to get the third book right away!

I mean..she dumped him though for not lying to her about his feelings

Lmaoo it’s a little bit funny looking back on this tweet now that I actually have to resit the entire year because I turned in like 2 assignments and a half

update: it’s due in 3 hours and I still haven’t started

But I mean…powerful sapphic couple! What more could you ask for?

I started The Priory of the Orange Tree back in January. I have only now finished it. I think the world building was so overwhelming at first I kept putting it down to read other books.

The Atlas Six…many thoughts. Not sure how I feel about it because I’m often unsettled by dark academia. Writing was beautiful though. “A flaw of humanity. The compulsion to be unique, which is at war with the desire to belong to a single identifiable sameness.”

Did not think I’d cry reading A Man Called Ove but I cry whenever I read or watch anything remotely emotional so..obviously I cried

Ok I read Crooked Kingdom and I retract the statement below. I still imagine the characters to be a bit older but other than that I loved everything about it.

Honestly enjoyed soc (haven’t got around to ck yet) but Kaz is overrated & Kanej is underwhelming. So many people advertised this as lgbt+ but the actual rep was much lower than I expected. I would’ve liked it better if they were a bit older but it was good overall.

update: I missed the deadline

I desperately need to start my 2000w assignment that’s due tomorrow but I am unable to function
