I can't imagine my career without Plone. Most importantly, my number of international friendships would be drastically reduced without it. Come for the Plone, stay for the community. Happy birthday Plone!

Personally confirmed. You will always miss the people, but not the Plone. Sorry.

Pyramid 2.0 is out! docs.pylonsproject.org/projects/pyram… Thanks to the phenomenal efforts of the Pyramid Core Developers, specially @mmerickel @bertjwregeer @steve_piercy @theronluhn !

Household pandemic stress level: high.

I gave a talk about the Questions form library at #ploneconf2020 last week. Here are the slides: docs.google.com/presentation/d… questions.readthedocs.io

The day has come. My unreserved love and best wishes to all my friends in the US. Take care, please.

Trying a mechanical keyboard for the first time (really!). I'm not going back.

Save me, please! Not only am I reading the comments, but I'm also composing replies in my head. That way madness lies...

Wife: The juice maker is broken, all the juice is pouring out. What a mess! Me: It doesn't look broken. Maybe the recipient where the juice was being poured is the thing that is broken? Where is it? Wife: ... Me: ... Wife: I forgot to put one!

Every once in a while, twitter is so worth it. Keeping some link, tenuous as it is, with people you love and admire...that is huge.

I've been using the web since before web ads, so I've seen ad management software evolve from its humble birth into the super sophisticated tools of today, capable of showing ads for all the things I already bought, for months after I stopped needing them.

Daughter: Are you working Daddy? Me: No, checking twitter. Daughter: Do you know that if you work instead of looking at that you will finish earlier every day? Me: ... Daughter: ... Me: Look at this funny cat video!

I can't stress enough how great it feels to get a *different* error message after struggling with something for a day.

My kids wrote the lyrics and recorded this Christmas song last year. This is our Christmas card for all my twitter friends. Wish I could see you more often. Merry Christmas! youtube.com/watch?v=CILr6r…

Hard to think of a better pair of developers. Don't miss the chance.

This post is unavailable.

The most successful people I've met: 1. Don't want to be seen anywhere near me.

I was helping my daughter with a Lego project, and I spent a few minutes puzzling over why a piece that the instructions said was needed had the wrong number of holes. It hadn't, I was holding it wrong. My daughter laughed at me. That, in a nutshell, sums my programming career.
