Excited to be starting my PhD at @TrentUni with @Midlands4Cities in October, digging deep into the topic of genealogical rolls beginning with Adam or Noah and ending with Henry VI. Why were so many made? Who was commissioning them? Why do so many survive? 🤔#M4CWelcome20
can’t wait to watch the wolf hall scenes that deal with gregory cromwell and elizabeth seymour’s marriage, knowing that eventually it will lead to the birth of their illustrious descendant, danny dyer.

This cannot be reiterated enough! Digitization is NOT preservation.
Never trust that anything that’s digitised or available online will be available forever. Digitisation is not preservation, and tech companies aren’t archivists or librarians. The presence of hard copy in a physical collection is the only guarantee of long-term survival
How did a lion skull end up in the moat at the @TowerOfLondon? 🦁 Gifted a lion on her wedding day, Margaret of Anjou received a symbol of the power she'd hold as Queen. But could this 1400s lion skull – dated by @NHM_London – be from Margaret's pet lion?
This is happening tomorrow! Looking forward to hearing what @katemosse has to say and to playing some (electro-)medieval music for you! 🎵🎶 Even if you can't make it to this event, you should definitely check out the exhibition: medievalwomen.seetickets.com/timeslots/filt… #MedievalMonday #medieval

So thrilled that our MA student, who spent several years researching a biography of Capt James Fitzjames, is key to this remarkable discovery. Her research connected the Canadian scholars with Fitzjames' descendant. Congratulations, Fabienne! 'Finding Fitzjames', indeed!
FITZJAMES HAS BEEN FOUND! 😭He was one of the first to die after they abandoned the ships. My boy didn't have to suffer for long. I'm so grateful that he has been identified. Crying and in shock too. I helped find you, my dear Fitzjames. 😭❤️
