Really hoping @vincestaples and @BootsRiley get the green light to make more seasons of their shows on @netflix & @amazon!

As of now it doesn’t exist but we have to convince @netflix that this is what the streets need. Click that double thumbs up 👍🏽

When my mom was too poor to make the trip to visit me in prison it meant something to hold every holiday card she sent knowing she held it too. Today the prison banned cards and postcards. They make it so hard and humiliating to stay in touch. More and more isolation. For what?

So to be clear here: A concentration camp.

CNN has released leaked images of the Israeli torture camp Sde Teiman in the Negev desert, where Israel perpetrates grave crimes against Palestinian prisoners abducted from Gaza.

let’s be very clear about what’s going on in this cover because I think it so aptly captures the incredibly subtle and strategic reactionary politics of the @NewYorker ⬇️

Barry Blitt for the win on the state of American higher education right now

It just hit me while listening to Minnie Riperton's "Come To My Garden" that @tylerthecreator 's Le Fleur is in loving conversation with her song "Les Fleurs." The petal details in the logo! The color choices! The art direction! Always so intentional!

Shameful that #BringChicagoHome didn’t pass. When only 20 percent of the city shows up to vote, our most marginalized community members suffer.

Does anyone else think the “face card” expression becoming mainstream is a bit… icky? Can we create lingo that doesn’t have an implicit association with capitalism/ credit cards? 💳

I loved this @AbbottElemABC moment from the latest episode 💕

Just saw a license plate that was “INK TAT.” Am I silly for imagining their partner’s car as “TEMP TAT” ?

As Kaba pointed out, even during the Great Depression, the NYPL system was open 7 days a week. Late term calitalism means that in the richest city in the world, in a booming "good" economy, there is now no money for Sunday library service

Went to the (Brooklyn) library today. Bunch of people were there trying to get in. Two cops were being paid to guard the door and say "Library is closed due to budget cuts" to everyone
