Yet another letdown crowd for the national championship game. Outside of Mississippi State and LSU's attendance, a game three is usually met with with plenty of open seats. Are the people of Omaha to blame? Fans who booked a flight too early? Maybe it's the 98 degree heat, but…

The SEC just clinched its 7th straight Finals appearance, 15 of the last 16. Auburn has been to Omaha two times under Thompson and is in the SEC, where kids want to play and has broad support. No sugar daddy needed, you’re disrespecting a good baseball league with that excuse.
I understand it's frustrating. But USM didnt have to be perfect this year to get in (though they got screwed with selection) because the conference is good The 40+ win mid majors faced nothing remotely close to what Florida did. Stacking wins against nobodies isnt fair either.
In fact, the SEC is so elite, that out of 11 ELITE teams, only 4 made it to Omaha despite 11 opportunities. Should be an all SEC Omaha w this kind of talk. Facts don't care about your feelings.
They won 43% of their league games in far and away the best league in America. They got in and they proved why they got in. Spare me the favorable regional stuff. They went to Stillwater and Clemson and won. Bad or mediocre teams cant do that. They have elite talent. Stop.
Committee throws in any SEC team they can no matter how shitty the record- because 11 teams are in, a few make it through, and homer umps bail them out, they deserve to be there!
The NCAA Baseball selection committee should be embarrassed that Florida is going to Omaha. Don't get me wrong, good team with great talent. But they didn't handle their business during the season and we're lifted a bid into the post season.
Greg Sankey is currently exploring a rule change for next season that would force an inning to continue if an SEC is trailing at the end of that inning. When asked why this rule change is necessary, Sankey pointed out “We are the SEC. It just means more.”
