NEWS: RBSL awarded £860m subcontract by @RheinmetallAG to produce Boxer vehicles for #MIV programme. The contract will create and sustain 200+ skilled jobs in and around #Telford, with the complete programme creating and sustaining 1000+ nationally. More: bit.ly/35X13Kc
RBSL will manufacture over 260 Boxer vehicles - around half of the @BritishArmy’s new fleet. RBSL will produce the Command and Specialist Carrier variants at its facility in #Telford, and is making a separate £20m investment in the site to upgrade manufacturing facilities.
Congratulations to WFEL who has secured investment from parent company KMW to manufacture Boxer from its Stockport HQ. The contract will create 120 jobs at the factory. The complete Boxer programme will also create/sustain a substantial number of jobs through a UK supply chain.
