Educational leaders: if the team leaders at your school haven’t revisited their team norms in this new normal/virtual collaboration, it is time. Norms depend on the people, the content/work, and the context. I would argue 2 of those 3 have just changed.
A few things I learned as a principal: ▶️ Never going to please everyone. ▶️ Suspension doesn’t change behavior. ▶️ Parents are sending the best they got. ▶️ 90% of your challenges come from 10% of the people. ▶️ NOTHING replaces a solid teacher.
