It’s been 365 days without you, Dad. Through all the tears, I’ve come to understand that grief is not a sign of weakness; it’s a reflection of the love we shared. Missing you will always be a part of our daily life, but so will the gratitude for the time we had together 🤍
Got to spend much needed quality time with my family this Christmas. Leaving home never gets easier 🤍
Ending the Fall semester with even more determination and motivation for the Spring. Hard work truly pays off and I can’t wait for what’s in store for the Spring 🤓

With heavy hearts, our former professor Dr. Allan Shook passed away. He was a pleasure to know and to know him was to love him. His humor lit up every room and he impacted so many.

One of the most important things I’ve learned during my first semester of my PhD is to always make time to do your favorite hobbies and spend time with the ones you love instead of burying yourself in your lab/school work!
