You may find the below graph enlightening. Wearing helmets DOES NOT make cycling safer - it just makes it a minority pursuit. Safe segregated cycle lanes are the way to make cycling safer - not specialised armour & clothing. They just deter people using cycling for everyday trips

I read last week that there are currently more humans in space than there are care leavers enrolled at Oxford University. (Five people returned from space in September, so before that there were more humans in space than there were care leavers at Oxford and Cambridge combined).
