A counter to daily standups I've used often is: Work takes time. Yes, I'm working on the same thing I was on yesterday. I'm not blocked. There are no problems. It's just how work is. I need time to do my work well. Telling you that I'm still working on it won't speed it up.
I conduct meetings, seminars in my head. I revisit old conversations and think a lot about what I should have said. I talk to myself in my alone time

Best way to grow in anything you’re into is being around people doing the same thing as you, possibly living with them & practicing together everyday I don’t think any method beats locking in with like minded people.

Been doing this tech thing for more than 7 years now 😂 I remember when I barely had up to a month experience. Nothing beats the power of locking in! That single point in 2020 where I moved in with my guys and we were learning for 7 months everyday really changed my life.
