The contrast is clear to see between the hydroseeded and unseeded areas Phase 1 in the background was hydroseeded last year using a biotic soil amendment and an ecology seed mix on to the same poor material that has recently been placed and awaiting hydroseeding this autumn
This is a one example of Hydroseeding compared to bare topsoil. At the same time the hydroseed grew-in so too have some weeds. Notice the weeds are also growing in the bare soil. Weeds will vary depending on where the topsoil has come from, and are not in the hydroseed mix.
Make poor dirt rich with Biotic Earth Hydraulic Growing Medium or HGM. Biotic Earth HGM is a soil amendment which is used where poor conditions exist and may prevent vegetation (grass) from establishing. We can eliminate expensive topsoil importing on many projects.

In 2011, at the Indiana Veterans Home in Lafayette, IN, using Biotic Earth, we were able to re-vegetate this slope with native plants. We saw native plant growth by the end of that year! #erosioncontrol #stormwater #civilengineering @bioticearth
Check out this completed project that preserved several large, open, green spaces while providing an area for overflow parking. Presto Geoblock, coupled with Tensar TriAx Geogrid provided load support to prevent wheel ruts and protected the root system of the vegetation.
