So much talk about the education gap (college vs not-college), which is super-interesting but no one ever seems to say what the ratio is. I'm looking at you, @FiveThirtyEight

Lights out in Ann Arbor. Apparently whatever aliens were in that "meteor" made it to the power substation. I, for one, welcome our new overlords.

Every now and then I listen to podcasts and thing, "Man, I could never be smart or articulate enough to do that." Then I slow down from 2x speed to 1x and realize all those people are idiots. Except Whiz Kid @forecasterenten

Ugh. Sorry to everyone whose feed has been cluttered with my @HondaCustSvc crap. Can't even begin to say how pissed off I am at Honda about this. Should have got the subaru.

Jesus. It's a design flaw -- that affects car seat safety no less -- that was in the 2017 model as well and didn't get fixed. . Stupid, irresponsible design. Very disappointed that @HondaCustSvc didn't just say so -- this is neither new nor unknown. procarseatsafety.com/1/post/2017/10…

Just bought a Honda CRV . The middle seat belt in the back has a strap which anchors next to the leftmost rider's buckle, but the buckle is on *the far side* of the anchor, so the two straps have to overlap. Dealer says this is a "feature" and can't be changed. Really, @honda??

"Barring legislation changing current copyright law, on January 1, 2019, everything published in 1929 currently protected by copyright law will enter the public domain." Yeah. Don't hold your breath.

In these divisive times, I miss the thoughtfulness and subtly of early 70's campus journalism.

Dear people who make pants: I have never once in my life needed a watch pocket. It's just a place for change to get stuck. Knock it off.

NPR pledge week turns out to be really eye opening. On AM radio I just learned that The Agenda is Global Communism under control of the UN.

I've been doing a tiny little dance to the theme song from “I dream of Jeanie” all day.

NPR pledge week : the ultimate in first-world problems.

Birthday present for my wonderful wife.

I've found that there are few things in parenting that can't be solved by some combination of hypocrisy and volume.

Dear "Sam" from robo-caller "Travel Promotions": The job was evil, but you're a good voice actress. I hope you get better gigs soon.
