Gobsmacked by this lovely new ad for Brooke Bond Red Label, by Ogilvy India. The tea is incidental to the wonderfully warm narrative that centers on the kindness of strangers - a Munnabhai'ish twist in the end! In a way, actor Sulabha Arya is playing an extended version of 1/3
No wonder the world worships him. True champion

In surgery they don’t say “I love you” they say “you can do the anastomosis” and I think that’s beautiful
General Surgery resident draws intraop findings to near perfection... a TARAS(occluded b/l renals) with double vessel Celiac and SMA occlusion. @RKTvascular

When a community hospital adds a vascular surgeon, it becomes a tertiary care center. The other way is true too. #vascsurg #MedTwitter
“In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on.” -Robert Frost
First day of your residency, you idolize one person, and then you spend the rest of your lifetime becoming half the surgeon your attending is!!! In complete awe
Imagine thinking that someone who pays >50k a year to work 50-60hours (doing a LOT of scut work), often mistreated and ignored is “lazy” or should not complain about their situation
I don’t think residents & attendings know how hurtful it is to students who have a huge interest in a particular field, to share that interest with you, & then you trash the field. Even a simple statement you thought was a joke can go a long way. Let students be passionate.
It is one thing to read COVID figures and another to go through it everyday..
