The latest update from @NWSSPC indicates G5 conditions have been observed. This is a rare event, as the last G5 event occurred with the Halloween Storms in October 2003. Impacts to HF/VHF/UHF communications, GPS, satellite navigation, and power grids.
Extreme (G5) geomagnetic conditions have been observed!
