Little bit of professional news: V excited to be joining the team @ESPNFC next week as their new Liverpool writer. Super grateful for the opportunity and for all of my wonderful colleagues at Reach, particularly @ Echo HQ, for making the last couple of years so special.

A goal that sums up the kind of form Curtis Jones is in right now. When he’s at his best, he’s a huge asset for both club and country.

WHAT A GOAL FROM CURTIS JONES! 💥 A beautiful little flick puts England three clear! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 #ITVFootball | #NationsLeague | @LFC

Premier League referee David Coote has been suspended pending a full investigation after a video was circulated on social media which appeared to show him making disparaging remarks about Liverpool and their former manager, Jurgen Klopp. READ 👇 espn.com/soccer/story/_…

A boost for Liverpool today as Trent Alexander-Arnold avoids serious injury. He will miss around two weeks with a hamstring problem and could be available after the international break for games against Southampton, Real Madrid and Manchester City. espn.com/soccer/story/_…

A statement week from Liverpool. Plenty of stern tests to come but hard to overstate what an impressive job Arne Slot is doing. So many standout performances over the past 3 games. Ibrahima Konate immense. Mohamed Salah imperious. A good start slowly turning into a good season.

Still can’t fathom that David Coote actually thought that wasn’t a foul on Mohamed Salah in the build up to Darwin Nunez’s goal. Ultimately ended up working in Liverpool’s favour but that is so, so poor from the referee’s perspective.

Ibrahima Konate, by the way. Just incredible.

Liverpool being ridiculously good in a second half again, is it?

A tough evening for Everton against Chelsea last night. No shame in losing to Sonia Bompastor's side but it continues the Blues' difficult start to the season. Thoughts on their current state of play, injury crisis and transfers 👇 liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…

A tough night for Everton but a brilliant one for Chelsea, who continue to impress under Sonia Bompastor. A statement win from the champions at Goodison Park 👇 football.london/womens-footbal…

It's been such a joy to watch Aggie Beever-Jones' development over the past few years. She's been the best player on the pitch tonight & capped her performance off with a great goal. A tremendous player & one who surely must be getting closer to meaningful minutes for England.

At Goodison Park for Everton vs Chelsea in the WSL. First half of a Goodison double-header for the hosts, with #LFC to come later this month. A chance for the visitors to keep pressure on leaders Man City. Kick-off at 6.45pm 🔵

Mohamed Salah is truly exceptional, isn’t he? He won’t get the recognition he deserves until he retires but he’s among the very best in my lifetime.

What about Wataru Endo, eh? Hero.

Liverpool’s best half of the season. Anfield at its best. Gomez sublime, Gakpo relentless, Tsimikas quietly excellent, Salah still extraordinary. Feels like a big one.
